AT&T, the exclusive cell phone carrier for the iPhone in the United States, is charging $30 for an unlimited data plan, $10 more than before to access the Internet on the faster 3G network. That means that over the course of a two-year contract, users will actually pay $240 more for the iPhone 3G, wiping out the $200 price cut for the phone itself.
AT&T will continue to charge $39.99 for a basic voice plan and will require a two-year contract.

The ingenious marketing department at Apple decided to take this and create an advert to demonstrate the superiority of Macs. Congratulations, well done. This makes the Mac user base’s intelligence really shine through.
